The site of the new development with entertaining and recreation function as the subject of the competition was located in the recreation area of ‘Nagyerdő’ in Debrecen. In our days the existing spaand health center need fully technological and functional renewal. According to the competetion expectations, the proposedrenewal and expansion aim to serve an up to dated high quaility spa and healt center. Beside the renewal of the existing facilities the plan proposed to incorporate new public functions, as fitness, wellness, beauty farm, kids club, café, pool bars, bowling, retails, pizzeria etc. With the renewal of the dated external beach the plan propose todevelop a new, sport swimming pool, external slide- system, thermal water pools, reastaurants, kid pools, theme pools, playgrounds,etc.Connecting to the beach, but functionally separated a new conference hotel and an apartment house is proposed to build.The hotel services include the use of the beach, and the public functions of the spa and health center.
